Filipino American Museum Opens in Las Vegas
The Filipino American Museum (also known as the Filipino Town Museum) officially opened in Las Vegas on June 12, 2026, coinciding with Philippine Independence Day. It is the first museum of its kind in the United States and serves as a vital cultural hub for the region’s thriving Filipino community.
Museum Details
Location: The Boulevard Mall, Suite 320 (El Mercado), 3680 South Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV.
Hours: Open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Exhibits: The space features rotating collections that explore Philippine history. Highlights span thousands of years of tribal traditions, Spanish colonization, and American territorial history.
Admission: General admission is $10, students and seniors pay $5, and children under 12 enter for free.
The Cultural District
The museum is located in the heart of Filipino Town, a 1.2-mile cultural corridor officially designated by Clark County. The district spans along Maryland Parkway (between Flamingo Road and Desert Inn Road) and features dozens of Filipino-owned businesses, restaurants, and collaborative workspaces
